6 Meter J Pole

4:1 (200 Ohm to 50 Ohm) balun constructed with RG-213 coax.  After testing the antenna for resonance matching was adjusted by moving entire balun assembly up or down.  All movable connections were then soldered in place.

With the antenna turned 180 deg you can see the copper strap which connects the coax shields of the balun to the center of the stub support.  This isn't required and appears to make no change in the matching but it does ensure a good low resistance connection from the coax to the antenna which wouldn't otherwise exist using this type of balun.
